1. Overarching agreement

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Corvinus Research website or purchasing any product. These terms govern all users of Corvinus Research and the corvinusresearch.com website, and must be agreed to before any purchase can be made.

By accessing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by this agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

These documents together govern your use of this website, your account, and any purchase made through our storefront. We may revise this agreement at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date your order is placed.

2. Research use notice

All products sold by Corvinus Research are synthesized, labeled and distributed strictly for laboratory research and in-vitro development. Unless otherwise stated in writing, they are not to be used for any other purpose. The following prohibitions apply without exception:

• Not for human consumption or clinical administration
• Not for veterinary use or administration to animals
• Not for use as food additives, drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, household chemicals or dietary supplements
• Not for in-vitro diagnostic purposes
• Not for recreational use of any kind
• Not reviewed or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for any diagnostic, cosmetic or medical use

The purchaser agrees that these products have not been sterilized, and have not been tested by Corvinus Research for safety or efficacy in food, drug, medical device, cosmetic, commercial or any other application.

Corvinus Research does not make, imply or endorse any medical, therapeutic or physiological claim regarding its products.

3. Purchaser qualification and age requirement

All customers must be at least 21 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

All products supplied by Corvinus Research are to be handled only by qualified and properly trained individuals working in an appropriate laboratory setting.

By checking the agreement box and submitting an order, the buyer warrants that they meet the age requirement, that they are professionally qualified to handle, store and dispose of laboratory research materials safely, and that they are purchasing for legitimate scientific use.

4. Purchaser warranties

In purchasing these products, the customer acknowledges that hazards are associated with their handling and use. The customer represents and warrants to Corvinus Research that, through their own independent review and study, they are fully aware and knowledgeable about:

• The health and safety hazards associated with handling the products purchased
• The industrial hygiene controls necessary to protect personnel from those hazards
• The need to give adequate warning of the health and safety hazards associated with the products
• Government regulations governing the use of, and exposure to, such products

The purchaser expressly represents and warrants that they will properly test, use, manufacture and market any product purchased from Corvinus Research, and any material produced with it, in accordance with the practices of a reliable person experienced in the field, and in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, now and hereafter enacted.

The purchaser further warrants that any material produced with any product shall not be adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and shall not be a material which may not, under Sections 404, 505 or 512 of that Act, be introduced into interstate commerce.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify the hazards and to conduct any further research necessary to understand the hazards involved in using products purchased from Corvinus Research.

5. Refusal of sale

Corvinus Research reserves the right to limit or deny the sale of any product to any individual where we have reason to believe that misuse will occur, or where the customer is not qualified to handle the material.

Any communication that leads us to believe a product will be used in a manner other than that for which it is intended will result in a refusal to sell being recorded against the account, cancellation of the associated order, and notification to the account holder by email.

Misuse of this website, or of the products sold through it, is not tolerated in any circumstance.

6. No application or use guidance

Corvinus Research assumes that the researcher is familiar with the products being purchased and with the requirements of their own protocol.

We do not provide guidance, suggestions, quantities or protocols relating to the use of any product in humans or animals, and we do not advise on application to any particular study design. Requests of that nature will receive a written refusal and may be treated as a stated intended use under section 5.

Any general educational material published on this website describes laboratory handling practice only. It is not instruction for preparing any material for administration, and it does not imply that any product is suitable for use in humans or animals.

Please familiarise yourself with the products and their research applications before purchasing.

7. Orders, pricing and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not form a contract. The contract forms when we dispatch the order.

• All prices are listed in US dollars and exclude any taxes or duties applied at the destination
• We may correct pricing or listing errors at any time before dispatch, and will cancel and refund in full rather than fulfil an order priced in error
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where stock is unavailable or where a stated intended use falls outside laboratory research
• Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. Card details are handled by that processor and are not stored on our servers.

8. Shipping and delivery

Orders are dispatched from the United States. Delivery estimates are indicative and are not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer on delivery to the carrier.

The buyer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for any charges arising from a failed or refused delivery. We are not liable for carrier delays, customs inspection or border seizure.

9. Refunds, returns and replacements

Because these are research materials whose integrity depends on storage and handling, opened or used products cannot be returned.

• Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within [N] days of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the vial
• Approved claims are resolved by replacement, or by refund where a replacement is unavailable
• Orders cancelled before dispatch are refunded in full
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear

10. Legal compliance and buyer responsibility

Customers assume sole responsibility for compliance with all local, state, federal and international law governing the purchase, import, possession and testing of research compounds.

The purchaser acknowledges that, because these products are intended solely for research purposes, they may not appear on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) inventory listing. The purchaser assumes responsibility for ensuring that any product purchased is approved for use under TSCA where that Act applies.

Corvinus Research is not responsible for border seizures, changes to regulation, or municipal restrictions affecting your shipment. Buyers ordering from outside the United States should confirm the import position in their own jurisdiction before placing an order.

11. Indemnity

In direct consideration of our approving the sale of any product to the purchaser, which sale we would not otherwise make, the purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Corvinus Research, its officers, employees and affiliates from all claims, expenses, losses and liability of any nature whatsoever arising out of the purchaser’s handling, possession or use of any product, whether used alone or in combination with any other substance.

12. Liability disclaimer

All items are supplied strictly as raw laboratory materials. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corvinus Research, its officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, whether the purchaser claims in contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, resulting from:

• Misuse or negligent handling by the customer
• Improper reconstitution, preparation or storage
• Clinical or consumer application of any kind
• Any use falling outside the research use restrictions set out above

Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the purchase price paid for the order in question.

13. Intellectual property and patents

The listing of a material on this website does not constitute a license to, or a recommendation for, its use in infringement of any patent.

All content on this website, including text, product photography, certificates of analysis, branding and page design, is the property of Corvinus Research and may not be reproduced, republished or used commercially without written permission.

14. Governing law and legal address

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
