Refund and returns

This page explains what can and cannot be returned, how long you have to raise a problem, and how refunds, replacements and return shipping are handled. Because we supply research materials, product integrity comes before convenience.

Returns at a glance

You have 30 days from purchase to request a return. Items must be unused, unopened and in their original packaging. Vials that have been opened or reconstituted cannot be returned under any circumstance.

1. Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or an exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition in which you received it, in its original packaging. We require a receipt or proof of purchase to complete any return. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, and do not ship anything back to us before your claim has been authorised.

Returns are approved or declined in full. We do not issue partial refunds.

2. Non-returnable items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Any vial that has been opened, used or reconstituted
  • Temperature sensitive material once it has left our facility
  • Items returned without a prior return authorisation from us
  • Orders where the buyer supplied an incorrect or undeliverable address
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Any item not in its original condition, or damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item with obvious signs of handling outside its sealed packaging

3. When we will make it right

We will replace or refund an order where:

  • The item arrived damaged in transit
  • You received the wrong item
  • The item was defective on arrival

Claims must be reported within [N] days of delivery, with your order number and photographs of the packaging and the vial where relevant. In these cases we cover the cost of the return and the replacement.

4. How to start a claim

Email support@corvinusresearch.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Do not send any item back until we have confirmed your claim and issued a return authorisation. Unauthorised returns cannot be processed or refunded.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected we will email you to confirm that it has arrived, and to tell you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, the refund is processed to your original method of payment within [X business days]. The time for the funds to appear depends on your card issuer or bank. Original shipping costs are not refunded except where the error was ours.

6. Late or missing refunds

If you have not received an approved refund, check your bank account again first. Then contact your credit card company, as it can take time before a refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank, since there is often a processing delay at their end.

If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, contact us at support@corvinusresearch.com with your order number.

7. Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Items bought on sale, at a bundle price or under a promotional code cannot be refunded, although the damaged, incorrect and defective provisions in section 3 still apply to them.

8. Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, email support@corvinusresearch.com and wait for a return authorisation before sending anything to [return address].

9. Order cancellations

You may request a cancellation at any point before your order has been dispatched. Once an order has shipped it can no longer be cancelled and falls under this policy. To request a cancellation, contact us as quickly as possible with your order number.

10. Return shipping

Once a return is authorised, ship the product to [return address]. You are responsible for paying the shipping cost of returning your item, and shipping costs are not refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping is deducted from it.

Delivery time for an exchanged product varies with your location. For higher value returns we recommend a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive an untracked return.
